2003 — Spanish newspapers report that a survey by the Spanish Federation of Sexology Societies indicates 77% of Spanish people plan in advance when they will have sex. Of 1,200 people surveyed, 18- to 24-year-olds are the most likely to plan the day and place where they will have sex. The average couple makes love two or three times a week, with Saturday night the preferred time. And 86% of those surveyed are satisfied with their sex lives.
