2001 — Tom Cruise, who is not gay, files for divorce, in Los Angeles Superior Court, from actress Nicole Kidman, with whom he has presumably had normal heterosexual intercourse many times. Tom, who does not have sex with men and is not sexually aroused by men, cites "irreconcilable differences" and requests joint custody of the couple's two adopted kids. Tom, who will sue for defamation if anyone insinuates he's a homosexual person, and Nicole have been separated since December, just shy of their ten-year anniversary.
