1976 — After three years of marriage, artist Menachem Gueffen and Diana "Emma Peel" Rigg get divorced.

1997 — When Jocelyne Wildenstein discovers her husband of almost twenty years in bed with with a young blonde, he pulls a gun on her and her bodyguards and orders her to leave.  This wasn't the reaction she was hoping for when she started her multi-million dollar romance with plastic surgery.  The couple had met while she was a lion hunter working on the Wildenstein estate in Kenya.  Sometime after they married, the "Bride of Wildenstein" realized she wanted to look like the exotic cats that her husband loved more than anything else, and began her remarkable transformation.  Her husband wasn't impressed, and neither was the judge in the divorce proceedings, who decided that "The wife shall be responsible for all elective plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures... and shall be responsible for their cost."

2002 — A 33-year-old Edinburgh man is arrested and charged with breach of the peace after police catch him trying to have sex with a traffic cone at the bottom of Calton Hill. Nice try though.

2004 — Formerly relevant Growing Pains star Tracey Gold, 35, rolls her SUV down an embankment, injuring her husband and 7-year-old son. In March she'll receive three years of probation and have her license suspended for one year.
